Calor Gas Cylinder Refill Agreement
All gas bottles/cylinders are for collection only during business hours. We do not deliver.
Calor currently states that in order to prioritise the return of cylinders into the supply chain for refilling, only customers with a CRA (Cylinder Refill Agreement) or those taking out a new one can receive a filled cylinder in exchange for an empty.
Therefore, we can only sell Calor gas in exchange for an empty bottle (like for like- see below) or if you take out an agreement. This can be done in the chandlery - please allow extra time.
What is a CRA?
When you buy a gas bottle for the first time, you'll also purchase a CRA. It's an agreement for the bottle, which means you'll be able to swap your bottle, (exchange group depending), when it becomes empty. You'll just need to pay for the gas once you have a CRA.
Is a CRA needed for a different gas bottle?
If you have, for example, a 4.5kg butane bottle and want to exchange it for a 7kg butane bottle, your current CRA is fine.
But if you’re swapping from butane to propane, you’ll need to purchase a new CRA because it’s in a different exchange group.
All cylinders remain the property of Calor.
