Tohatsu covers are designed to stay on the outboard all year round to help protect the outboards cowling from the elements.
 

The fabric is impregnated with hydrophobic solution prior to being woven, making them totally water repellant for up to five years, and also have an added benefit of a UV resistance for up to five years too. The sleek design snugly follows the contours of the cowlings within a 3mm tolerance as not to distract from the manufacturer's original lines.
